Our counselling therapy sessions are thoughtfully crafted with your comfort and well-being as our top priorities. We strive to create a safe, warm, and inviting environment where you can truly feel at ease. Our space has been carefully curated to offer you support and a sense of home, providing a space where you can freely express yourself and embark on your journey to well-being in a setting that respects and celebrates your cultural identity. This approach ensures you receive the care and support you need in an atmosphere that feels like a welcoming embrace.

My counselling practice is grounded in mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I work with young people who are feeling stuck or overwhelmed, often in the context of anxiety, depression, ADHD, relational challenges, or significant life transitions. I currently only offer online counselling therapy.

I provide a supportive and collaborative space where preteens, adolescents, and young adults can explore their experiences and develop meaningful strategies for coping and growth. Together, we work to build practical tools that align with your goals, while also creating space to process emotions and strengthen self-understanding.

My experience living and working in Indigenous communities in the North has shaped my commitment to culturally sensitive and responsive care. I strive to foster a therapeutic environment that honours identity, values, and lived experience. My approach is grounded in cultural humility, trauma-informed practice, and relational work that supports clients in forming deeper connections with themselves and others.

My experience includes working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. My practice is centered on a strengths-based and person- approach, which focuses on recognizing the inherent strengths of individuals while tailoring interventions to meet their unique needs.

I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to assist in promoting growth and healing. I have extensive experience working with individuals impacted by trauma, including emotional and physical abuse, sexual assault, suicidal ideation, self-harm, grief and loss, domestic violence, and neglect. I also have a strong background in supporting members of the LGBTQ2S+ community, providing affirming support as they navigate gender identity, sexuality, and the process of transitioning.

My approach is grounded in empathy, culturally sensitivity and trauma-informed care. I strive to create a safe and respectful space where each person feels heard, valued, and supported in their journey toward self-acceptance and healing.

Having grown up in the Northwest Territories and spent time living and working alongside various Indigenous communities, I developed a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and a strong commitment to delivering culturally sensitive and responsive care. My counselling practice is grounded in trauma-informed principles with a focus on supporting emotional regulation, fostering self- awareness, and encouraging personal growth. I bring clinical expertise and a compassionate, culturally attuned approach to my offerings. I rely on strong interpersonal skills and a naturally empathetic presence to build trust and foster meaningful therapeutic relationships.

Outside my professional life, I enjoy travelling, staying active through sports, and engaging in outdoor, adrenaline-filled adventures. Above all, I value building strong therapeutic relationships and fostering a welcoming environment where clients feel safe, supported and a true sense of belonging.
