At Journey to Wellness, we are here to support you every step of the way.
As an Indigenous Métis social worker and clinical counsellor, I am dedicated to providing culturally informed counselling to individuals in both Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. With a profound academic focus on Indigenous populations and trauma-informed approaches to therapy and research, I bring a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals in their journey towards healing.
I am committed to accompanying you on your journey to healing and well-being. Whether you are seeking counselling for the first time or continuing your therapeutic journey, I offer a compassionate and culturally sensitive approach.
My counselling practice is grounded in mindfulness and cognitive behavioural therapy. I work with young people who are feeling stuck or overwhelmed, often in the context of anxiety, depression, ADHD, relational challenges, or significant life transitions. I currently only offer online counselling therapy.
I provide a supportive and collaborative space where preteens, adolescents, and young adults can explore their experiences and develop meaningful strategies for coping and growth. Together, we work to build practical tools that align with your goals, while also creating space to process emotions and strengthen self-understanding.
My experience living and working in Indigenous communities in the North has shaped my commitment to culturally sensitive and responsive care. I strive to foster a therapeutic environment that honours identity, values, and lived experience. My approach is grounded in cultural humility, trauma-informed practice, and relational work that supports clients in forming deeper connections with themselves and others.
